MP-70, MP-75 and MP-90 are multi-purpose nylon spinnaker fabrics designed specifically for cruise and club race applications. They are manufactured using the same technology as AIRX but with greater emphasis on durability and value over ultimate performance.
MP-70 and MP-75 Spinnaker Fabrics are stabilised using a unique impregnation process. Unlike a coating that sits on top of the weave, the impregnation surrounds the fibre, making for a more durable finish. An additional light coating is then applied that further stabilises the cloth and provides zero porosity. MP-70 is based on a 40 x 40 balanced construction and MP-75 is based on a 30 x 30 balanced construction.
MP-90 Spinnaker Fabric is based on a tried and tested 70 x 70 balanced construction. Stabilised by a resin impregnation, MP-90 is an ideal choice for heavy air spinnakers and all round cruising, covering a wide range of wind strengths.
